"For me, art has always been about instant gratification (in terms of expressing something). Until recently, it was very rare for me to spend longer than 10 minutes on a piece - regardless of medium. It was, and still is, also pretty rare for me to approach the metaphorical blank canvas with any clue of what I actually want to do (when I do attempt this it usually ends up screwed up in the bin). I always feel knackered after I've finished a piece - and I have to hide it away really quickly because if I start looking at it abstractly and with that precious 'hindsight' it'll most likely end up in the bin as well. Nevertheless, I hope you like my stuff - if you want one of your own just drop me a line."
